U.S. Politics across the ocean
We were pleasantly surprised to see this sign in a window yesterday... have yet to see any like this for McCain! We'll definitely have to figure out how to vote this November!
Stryker - the Dutch love the Dems! I am surprised you have only seen one sign! If you really want to see some politically involved Europeans head down to Switzerland and get an ear full there. They are into US politics like Canadians like Hockey.
I am glad you are getting settled in Stryker-Schmitt (hyphenated last name or LLC?) and I want a picture on this blog ASAP of you both eating MAOZ my favorite vegetarian place in the world on Leidsestraat just up from the Leidseplein.
Hi it's Alison, Whitney's friend, she said your blog super cute so I wanted to check it out. Noticed this comment about figuring out how to vote, and since I'm a democracy nerd, the best thing to do would be to go to your local elections office (when you're back in OR) and fill out an absentee ballot. They can be sent overseas!
