Farmfest 2009

And the American adventure continues...

After Sunriver, Brian went down to Ashland to see his dad (blog post to come soon, courtesy of Brian), and we met up a few days later at Molly & Mike's farm for their annual Farm Fest celebration.

If you aren't already aware of Farm Fest, it's a wonderful tradition started by the Hoffer-Dore family something around 10 years ago (I was wrong when I wrote this - it was 17 years ago! wow.), and involves a great deal of swimming, food, friends & family - and music, lots of music.

As always, this year was a great success. The food was fresh and delicious, the music entertaining, the swimming hole tolerably cold, and the people fantastic. My parents even made it down for the night and got to see the fun - I'm hoping we can convince my niece and nephews to join us next year as well! And we were really glad to get to spend some time with Patrick, Em & the kids since we hadn't seen them for so long.

There are a few pictures of the weekend below, or take a look at our full Picassa album
here.

Hey guys!

Good to see another posting. Really nice photos...almost makes up for not being there and seeing everyone.

I just did a little tally, and since farm fest began in 1992 (at the end of my freshman year) it is now 17 years old! Amazing, huh?!

Love to you both!

I'm glad Amy wrote her input, as I knew we needed to set the record straight. She started the Farm Fest practice, you see.
It's fun to get your family coming to the venerable FF, Krista. We look forward to more of them joining.
Love,
Molly
